xfcalc is a calculator for the X Window System that, in addition to all the usual features of a scientific calculator, can work in hexadecimal and octal as well as decimal. Most calculators and calculator implementations are limited to integer values for hexadecimal and octal while xfcalc can use floating point. xfcalc can also perform the bit-wise logical operations and, or and exclusive-or on floating-point values.
